Hi Friends!
Here's a peek at the lists I've completed for the 30 Lists creative challenge I am doing. Figuring out what I want the cover to look like always seems like the hardest part (weird, I know). I decided to go with a mustard and gray color pallet (just like my new bedroom!). Yellow and gray just seem to be working for me lately. Each time they run the 30 List challenge, they change the list topics, so each time I end up with a completely different book. Totally fun. Here's shots of my #1-8 lists:
I'm off to get yesterday and today's lists completed.
Have a wonderful, creative day!

Vicki

30 Lists
Hi Friends!
I've decided to play along with 30 Lists again this month. I've done it twice in the past, and I absolutely love looking back at my little books to see what was important to me at the time. Kam and Amy always manage to come up with fun, original prompts. In the past, I put a whole bunch of time into making each page super-cute. This time I'm going to focus on the lists and keep my pages simple. When I look back at my books, I'm really only interested in the lists (although I do marvel at how much time I put into each layout). I am using a mini album designed by Elise which I've been saving hording because she doesn't sell mini albums any more. I added a few letter stickers, some washi tape, a couple of enamel dots, and I'm good to go. I'm ready to get listing!

I'm still loving this month's 30 Lists challenge! This week's prompts seemed extra-good. Here are my lists from days 8-14:
And there you have it--seven more lists in the book. On to week three!

30 Days of Lists//Update #3
Hi Friends!
Happy October! Can you believe it?!? September is over, and so is my "30 Days of Lists" class. I loved taking this little class, and I'm thrilled with how my book turned out.
All the pages and embellishments made for one very thick mini-album:
I got a little behind on my lists toward the end of the month, but I officially finished list 30 last night, right on schedule! : ) Here's pictures of the last of my lists:
The kids and I had a good time coming up with what we'd do with our lottery winnings:
What do you like to do when you're sick? Here's my list:
Last Sunday the prompt was, "Today's To-Do List." Here's mine:
List #26 was "Things to Do Before My Next Birthday." This one felt a little like a "To Do" list since my birthday is in October. There's not a lot of time left to plan big adventures before the 23rd:
The kids thought list #27 was fun. They had no problem coming up with my overused words and phrases:
List #28 was hard for me, "If I Ruled the World." Wouldn't world peace be perfect?
September 2011 was pretty awesome, so coming up with list #29 was easy:
And last, but not least, list #30 was "I Am Proud of Myself For." Here's what I came up with:
And there you have it! I'm going to miss doing my daily list. This class was so much fun. You can see my other lists (here), (here) and (here).
Have a wonderful weekend!

30 Lists {Week One}
Hi Friends!
I am loving this month's 30 List challenge. So far the hardest prompt has been "Favorite Fictional Couples." You would think this would be easy for me since I read all the time, but I actually drew a big 'ole blank when I tried to remember my favorite couples from literature. Here are my first seven lists:
Lists are so much fun, aren't they? Are you playing along? Please leave me a link in the comments--I'd love to see your lists!

30 Days of Lists
Hi Friends!
It's almost that time again--time to begin September's 30 Days of Lists class! Are you a lister? I love making lists, I really do. I had a whole bunch of fun last year completing this class. The object of the class is simple; make one list a day, each day, for the month of September. There is a different prompt for each day. At the end of the month, I had a cute mini-album filled with 30 different lists. Awesome! From time-to-time, I will post some of my lists. Want to see last year's album? Click here. Want more information about the class (it's only $8! {what a deal!})? Click here.
XO,
Vicki

30 Days of Lists
Hi Friends!
I keep forgetting to mention that I'm doing the "30 Days of Lists" class that I found out about from my friend, Monika. The goal of the class is to make a different list each day in September. Each morning I check the 30 Days site and get my prompt for the day. Then I set out to make a list. Here's what I've come up with so far:
Today's prompt is "Favorite Color Combinations."
I am having a blast with this little class. I'll be sure to share a few more pages from my book throughout September. Yay for fun little classes that allow me to be creative!

Vicki

30 Lists (Week 3)
Sorry for the lack of posts last week. I'm not sure how the week totally got away from me, but I think it might have had something to do with watching every episode of Scandal in the last 7 days (oops!). I am not a huge TV watcher, but when I find something I like on Netflix, I can't rest until I've watched it all. Anyway...here's last week's lists. I can't believe we are already on list #24! I'm glad I did this challenge this month. It's been an easy creative outlet for me.
I think my favorite list of this bunch was the Pins to Try. I tend to pin all sorts of good things on my Pinterest boards, only to promptly forget about them. It was fun to go back through some of my boards and pick a few to try. I'll keep you posted on whether or not I actually get around to making any of them! : ) In the meantime, if you'd like to look at my pins and pick a few to try out on your own, you can find my profile here.
XO,
Vicki
