Project Life Update//April 23-29

Hi Friends--

It's Tuesday, so that must mean it's time to link up my Project Life layout with The Mom Creative!  If you are doing Project Life, you've got to check out Jessica's blog.  All sorts of fabulous ladies link up their PL pages each week--it's so fun to see all the different layouts!

Last week ushered in the beginning of the end-of-the-year activities at the schools.  I always know when the school year is wrapping up, because the final concerts start showing up on the calendar.  Last week it was Jack's turn.  Jack plays the string bass and I've got to say--I love it!  He's the only bass player in his school's orchestra, so I can always hear him playing!  After the concert there was a whole big bunch of treats for the musicians and their families to enjoy.  I have a feeling the reception is his favorite part of the concert.
The laughter quote was a free printable I found online that I re-sized and printed out as a photo.  I love how it adds a nice bold punch to the page.

The other highlight from last week was seeing Grammy and Grampy.  It's always fun (and busy) when they come up for the weekend.  I decided to take pictures right away the first day, and then ended up only getting shots of Grammy and Jack.  Next time I've got to grab Grampy and the girls right away, too!  : )
As I mentioned yesterday, I've been busy planning the big Celebration of the Arts.  I added a shot of the program cover I designed, and a picture from the box of Emily's new laptop (she's so excited!).  The bottom right picture is of the girls and Lillee.  They volunteered to plant trees on Saturday.  It was pretty darn chilly, as you can probably tell!  The little "Be Awesome" print came with an order from this Etsy shop.  I have two prints from that shop--I love them!

John left for Peru on Sunday.  : (  I'm so over having him gone.  It was only fun for the first week.  The good news is that he won't be gone as long this time! Yahoo!

What happened to you last week?
XO,

Vicki
