Holy cow! It was another big week for Project Life. I love this project and I love that I already have last week "in the books". I'd like to think I would remember all these bits and pieces of our daily life, but the truth is, so much happens every week that if I wasn't doing Project Life, I know some of these memories would be lost forever.
Last Monday's Memorial Day parade seems like forever ago. It was a gorgeous, sunny day--a perfect day for celebrating our brave service men and women. We also had the drama awards ceremony last week and Jack had a field trip to the Planetarium. I'm pretty sure that will be my very last school bus ride with Jack (sadness).
Of course, you know all about Maddie's 8th grade dance and the One Direction concert. Here are the layouts:

Hi Vicki,
ReplyDeleteYour layout is both gorgeous and vibrant! I particularly love your title card and the way you've written directly on the photos using a white (or silver?) marker? (You have nice handwriting, by the way.)
Wow, year 8 dance! Do you feel that your kids are growing up really fast?
Ronnie xo
p.s. Glad I found you via Jessica's blog.
Yay! Thanks for all the nice compliments! And yes...my kids are growing up WAY TOO FAST! I'm trying to stay "present" as much as possible each day and not worry about how little time I have before they head off to college!
DeleteHey there - found you via Jessica's blog. Just wanted to give a shout out from someone else from WI! (I live a bit south of you - near Mauston, WI.)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, LOVE your pages!
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Laura! Thanks for stopping by and sharing some WI love! XO
DeleteWow, your layouts are stunning. I like how you kinda kept each page one color and pulled the color from the photos. Your post also has me thinking about the future and all those exciting school things that are coming. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice compliments! Each phase of my kiddos life has been fun--but I'm really loving the fact that they are all young adults--making their own decisions and becoming the fabulous people they are destined to be.
DeleteOh, I love how you did your date card. Fun pages!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Catherine! I'm so excited that you stopped by--your PL layouts are always awesome! XO
