I Heart Lovely New Friends

You know what?  Some of my very favorite people just so happen to be the parents of my swimmers.  It's like a double-secret-bonus:  I get to coach *awesome* kids, and become friends with their equally-awesome parents.  Last week I had coffee with one of my swimmers' moms, Tricia.  We just talked, and talked, and talked.  I loved it!  We talked all the way up to lunch.  You know when you meet someone new and you just know you're two peas in a pod?  Well, that's how I felt with Tricia.  I love it when that happens.  Not only is she a fantastic swim mom, she's also a scrapper.  In fact, she owns "Club Scrap," and she's kind of a big deal.   I had no idea how famous she is!  : )  Tricia brought me a whole big 'ole box of goodies, including the yummy raspberry paper and the "2 Peas in a Pod" die cut above.  The paper is awesome--rich, saturated color with a wonderful texture.  You've got to hop on over to her site and check out her lines.  Check out her new blog while you're at it, too!
Thanks, Tricia, for the lovely coffee date and the box of goodness!

  1. That is awesome! When I first started Scrapbooking I was a faithful Club Scrap member. Actually some of my favorite stamps are from Club Scrap.

  2. Awe. . . I'm just grinnin', Vicki! I got the sweet card in the mail--thank you so much! Looking forward to our next session in the pod. (h)
